Olympic Weightlifting Coaching Education
We provide British Weightlifting Level 1 and Level 2 courses for those who are interested in becoming a weightlifting coach, please contact us for further details.
We also offer camps and seminars pertaining to strength training, Olympic weightlifting, and the application of strength training and Olympic weightlifting to different groups such as youths, athletes in other sports, women, and the elderly.. All camps and seminars cover topics and instruction tailored to each specific audience and their unique needs. Coaching courses teach you how to further develop your understand of weightlifting and its principles, and how to coach and apply these principles to your athletes. Coaching Course Prerequisites
Prospective coaches must meet the following criteria:
Must be at least 18 years old; must speak, read, and write English (Please specify if you would like a Cantonese only course)
Must have at least 1 year of experience training Olympic Weightlifting
Must be able to lift at least 20kg (men) / 15kg (women)
Must have a plan, purpose, and passion for learning and coaching weightlifting (ie. I want to teach my clients better technique).
